(Noir) Blow the candle
This photo is my first for the “Noir” series inspired by my current song obsession of the same title by South Korean artist, Sunmi. The song talks about how far people go for likes and follows even if it means losing their true selves, or worse, putting themselves or others in dangerous situations. We’ve seen stuff like this on Youtube and other social media platforms that sometimes led to people involved getting hurt or even ending in fatality. It always has me thinking, “Is having a massive following really worth all that?”

Black Dahlia
This is the first time I have used a graphics tablet and it’ll take me some time to get the hang of it. It’s like learning how to write and draw all over again! Although it is a bit difficult, it is more precise than using a mouse especially when it comes to drawing lines.
Romance Couture is an up and coming brand in Second Life and Eleseren Brianna, the genius behind it all, has already released some of the most elegant gowns you’ll ever see in the grid. You can grab this beautiful dress made especially for Halloween for free when you join the in-world group. Wraith Night is a dark, stunning floor-length lace dress with dual slits, a long train, and a red silk rose/ribbon that adds a pop of color. It is non-mesh and comes with modifiable prim pieces for perfect fitting.
L’amour Model Management & Productions and Romance Couture is also working side by side to bring us the first ever “Face of Romance Couture” competition. It is open to all and does NOT require model certification in order to compete. The following information are copy and pasted from the official notice:

APPLICATION FOR FACE OF ROMANCE COUTURE
You are not required to be a certified model to participate in FORC.
This is a Styling competition based on items in competition boxes you will recieve if you make it through the initial application process and become a Semi Finalist. Semi Finalists will be expected to make a styling based on items within the competition boxes, following the rules given with the box. Initial applications do not have to have styling photos based on Romance Couture items, just show us how fabulous you are and why you would fit the Romance Couture brand image of Romantic, Fierce and Fabulous.
All contestants will submit an Application. Any applications done after midnight slt November 30th will not be accepted. You are required to send in (1) headshot (1) full body shot to Ava Jhamin, no later then November 30, 2013. Please no photoshop on pictures where you don’t look like you. We want to see the same person in picture and in front of us.
You must join the in world group of Romance Couture.

October 18th – November 30, 2013, 2913 Initial Application Submissions.
Semi Finalist will then receive boxed items from Romance Couture, & Madrid Solo. Any other accessories up to you. (If you are given this box you are a semi finalist… WELCOME TO FACE OF ROMANCE COUTURE) You will then have until December 6, 2013 to submit your headshot (1024 X1024) full body shot (1024 X 1024) into the Romance Couture flickr group.
