The AVENUE Autumn/Winter Fashion Week 2013 is opening with 2 shows tomorrow, September 29th. They will be presenting over 20 runway shows until October 5th showcasing some upcoming “BLOOM” and established “VANGUARD” designers. To ensure that guests have a pleasant viewing experience, those who are interested in attending are requested to RSVP before the event. The shows will also be available via livestream should you not be able to enter the venue.

I am wearing one of Ricielli‘s outfits for AFW ’13 – a very urban chic ensemble featuring a printed undershirt, leather coat and pants, and The Birkin Bag. Ricielli will be part of the Vanguard Collective show on October 5th, Saturday, at 12pm SLT together with Pure Poision and Violator. Hope to see you there!

Like a Skyscraper

Like a Skyscraper

Yes, I was listening to Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” while editing this photo. This song never fails to empower me everytime I listen to it. It makes me feel like I can overcome anything and reminds me that I have gone through a lot to even think of giving up. I have a lot in life to be thankful for – my family, friends who showed their support and gave me strength with their words of encouragement.

Second Life has been an outlet for me and allowed me to channel my frustrations and turn it to something positive. Like this blog – this blog is more than just a past time for me, more than just the normal “Hey! Look at what I’m wearing!” blog… this blog takes my mind off of unnecessary worries. I can be socially awkward at times and I find it a little difficult to start conversations but do know that I deeply appreciate each and everyone of you for being part of my Second Life experience. Pose Fair 2013 hosted by The Hottie Cooterati opened to the public yesterday, March 29, 2013, and will end on April 14, 2013. I am really glad that they continued with the event because this is one of the most awaited events by bloggers and photographers.
