Introducing the New “Powder Pack”

Calling all Catwa head lovers! There is now a mystery/subscription box that is focused solely on Catwa appliers. If you want to know more about Powder Pack and how the reservation process works, then keep scrolling!

(Update 4/16/2017: Powder Pack now has a LeLutka Edition. The reservation process is the same. You have until the end of the month to reserve and the packs are sent out the 1st of the following month.)

What is Powder Pack?

“Powder Pack is a monthly mystery pack consisting of 12 Catwa Head Makeup Appliers from your favorite brands across the grid!” – http://www.powderpacksl.com

The participating brands will most likely be consistent month after month until a line-up change is announced or a situation where the need for a guest designer arises. You can see the January line-up on the image below.

How much does it cost?

$L1,500 if you pre-order any time before midnight of the 16th of every month for Catwa Edition and before midnight of the end of the month for LeLutka Edition. If you miss the pre-order period and suddenly realized that you wanted the pack, you have 24 hours on the 17th where you can get it for $L3,000. After that, the pack will not be available for purchase until the next month for $L2,000.

What exactly am I getting?

Powder Pack is pretty similar to other boxes wherein you are only given info as to which brands are participating but you don’t really get an idea as to what you are getting (except for the fact that they will be Catwa/LeLutka appliers). Personally, it would be awesome if they can give out hints regarding the current “theme” like they do for  RL Sephora PLAY! boxes. However, knowing that I am getting exclusive items from high-quality stores is enough for me to want to subscribe.

Are the items exclusive?

Powder Pack items are exclusive to the event. Participating brands may sell a re-color or create something similar but they won’t (and most probably will never) sell the exact same item at their main and/or satellite stores and at other events.

How do I “pre-order” my pack?

You can either do it in world or via marketplace. Once you have “pre-ordered”, your name will automatically be added to the mailing list and all you have to do is wait for your pack to arrive on the 17th of the month. This means you don’t need to take up any group space!

Can I send the Powder Pack as a gift?

Yes! If you are doing it in-world, all you have to do is right click the vendor, choose “Buy Gift”, enter the recipient’s name then pay. Alternatively, you can use the “Add to cart as gift” option via the marketplace.

Are there perks or giveaways?

Each month a lucky subscriber will have a chance to get the next pack for free! All you have to do is join the Flickr group, add your photo featuring Powder Pack items and add the hashtag #powderpackprincess.
