The very first Luxe Box was sent out yesterday and it has garnered both positive and negative feedback. Personally, I love everything I got! I am even wearing the Moon hair for this look considering that I wasn’t originally thrilled about it as evident on this plurk.

Contrary to it’s name, the Luxe Box came as a hud and it opens up (like a box) to reveal photos of the items included. You will then have to click on each photo to receive your goodies. Do note that it may take a few seconds to a few minutes for you to receive the items due to server issues.

Let’s talk about the ones I have on:

Moon | Sun Shy – Variety 
Thoughts: As I mentioned, I was like meh when I first tried this hair on because it didn’t sit on my head right. Turns out that I was just being too lazy! I was able to make it look right with just a couple of tweaks. The hair comes with a resizer script which makes it a whole lot easier. It comes with the variety hud with glitter and non-glitter options each with 20 colors (40 total). I do suggest wearing a hairbase for a more realistic hairline.

Tres Blah | Belted Shift Dress
Fitting: Standard (XXS, XS, S), Maitreya Lara, Slink Phyisque Original
Thoughts: This is a perfect spring/summer dress and I am in love with it! It initially came with 8 dress textures and 2 belt colors (black & brown) with gold and silver buckle options but an update was made today and Julliette was sweet enough to add more belt colors (greyish blue, camel, white, and red) making it a total of 6 colors! Now, I have seen some people complain that this dress makes them look preggo and I think it has something to do with your avatar movement. Certain movements like your legs raising, back hunching does create that “preggo” look however, this is a minor issue and it doesn’t make me love it less.

MishMish | Teacup Pomeranian
Thoughts: This baby has been following me all around since I got it. It comes as a companion pet or puppy prop and the bow is color changeable. You can also give your pet a custom name! I named mine Haneul which is heaven in Korean.
Rating: Thumbs up.

Blueberry | Leign Bustier
Fitting: Standard (XXS, XS, S, M, L), Belleza Venus, Isis, Freya, Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique Original and Hourglass
Thoughts: I love me a good bustier and I see myself actually wearing this especially now that it is almost summer! It is color changeable via hud with a whopping 20 color options!

Magika | Luxe Box: May 2016
Thoughts: This reminds me of Harley Quinn! It comes with an exclusive color hud for Luxe Box and I know that some are not liking the unnatural dual-toned hair color. I dye my hair weird colors in real life so this is something right up my alley. An update was sent out just as I was typing this post!! Sabina updated her hud to add 3 natural colors!!

Scarlet Creative | Aria Cottage

Land impact: 141
Thoughts: Charlotte is a doll and quickly sent an update as soon as she was informed that it has permissions set to “no copy”. I have mad respect for creators who have impeccable customer service. I am actually planning on setting this cottage out on my land and decorating it so I can get rid of my current cluttered skybox. I am a big fan of Scarlet Creative and this is no exception.

Tarte | Kendall Bed
Land impact: 10
Thoughts: This is a cute bed! I love the lights at the bottom. However, I wish that it came with more texture choices. Animations included are singles, friends, and PG couple animations.

Tee*fy | Verna Simple Dress & Top
Fitting: Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique Original and Hourglass
Thoughts: Tee*fy killed it with this dress! I love the way Azure creates dresses and skirts with cutesy bottoms. It comes in 5 spring/summer appropriate colors. A fix was sent out this morning for the chest area issue which I wasn’t even able to notice since I was too caught up with the pretty color combinations. It also comes separately as a top so you can pair it with your favorite jeans or shorts!

Reign | Luxe Thigh High Pumps
Fitting: Belleza Venus, Freya, Isis, Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique Original and Hourglass, TMP Deluxe
Thoughts: I own a ton of footwear from Reign so I might have fangirled a bit when I saw that they are one of the participating brands. The thigh high pumps is color changeable via hud with 5 color options. This actually gives me an excuse to wear short dresses, skirts, and shirts so I can show it off.

Foxes| Vintage Tied Tees
Fitting: Maitreya
Thoughts: Summer is here with Foxes’ Vintage Tied Tees that shows off your curves and toned midsection. It comes in 3 solid colors and 6 prints that is changeable via hud. This is something that I would actually purchase if I come across it in an event. I love crop tops and midriffs so this tee is definitely a yay!

Stories&Co. by Flowey | Dakota Blouse
Fitting: Standard (XXS, XS, S, M), Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique
Thoughts: I love this blouse for three reasons: the lace detailing, that it comes in 5 pretty pastel colors, and the fact that it’s a multipurpose top which you can either dress up or down depending on how you want to wear it. Again, this is something I would purchase.

Erratic | Joan Dress
Fitting: Maitreya Lara
Thoughts: Another multipurpose dress depending on how you style it. You can wear it for a cocktail party, business meeting, or even clubbing with your friends. It comes in 4 color options. Regarding the complaints as to why it only came fitted for the Maitreya mesh body, this has got to be the first time that they actually got Erratic products since as far as I know, she only makes Maitreya compatible clothing so it shouldn’t come off as a surprise.

That’s a total of 12 items that you got for L$1,000! In my  opinion, it was totally worth it since I like everything that I got and let’s face it, we all “subscribed” for the element of surprise. The list of participating designers has been up for quite a while so if you have done your research, you would kinda get an idea of what to expect like how most, if not all, of the participating brands make clothing for mesh bodies.

Will I subscribe again next month? I’d like to say that it will depend if they increase it to an insanely expensive price but even then, I know that I won’t be able to resist. 😀
