Fashionboi Landar of House of Fox and Justice Topaz of Justilicious – two of the most inspiring fashionistas in the grid collaborated to bring us a new brand named ROWNE which opened today. I joined their VIP group as soon as I can since members were granted early access (Plus more perks like 15% store credit on all purchases, 20% on Deluxe packs, exclusive group gifts, and flash sales). I knew that if I didn’t do that, I won’t manage to get in when it opens to the rest of the public.

Their debut collection are made up of timeless pieces, essential items that will never be out of style. If you are a VIP member, do not forget to pick up your group gift on the counter! ROWNE did not disappoint with the quality of the products and I have to say that their customer’s service is impeccable as well. (I happened to notice a slight error with the alpha of the Paul Structured Blouse so I IMed Justice. She apologized for the inconvenience and in a matter of minutes, an update was sent out.)

Black Dahlia

This is the first time I have used a graphics tablet and it’ll take me some time to get the hang of it. It’s like learning how to write and draw all over again! Although it is a bit difficult, it is more precise than using a mouse especially when it comes to drawing lines.

Romance Couture is an up and coming brand in Second Life and Eleseren Brianna, the genius behind it all, has already released some of the most elegant gowns you’ll ever see in the grid. You can grab this beautiful dress made especially for Halloween for free when you join the in-world group. Wraith Night is a dark, stunning floor-length lace dress with dual slits, a long train, and a red silk rose/ribbon that adds a pop of color. It is non-mesh and comes with modifiable prim pieces for perfect fitting.

L’amour Model Management & Productions and Romance Couture is also working side by side to bring us the first ever “Face of Romance Couture” competition. It is open to all and does NOT require model certification in order to compete. The following information are copy and pasted from the official notice:

L’AMOUR MODEL MANAGEMENT & PRODUCTIONS WITH ROMANCE COUTURE 

APPLICATION FOR FACE OF ROMANCE COUTURE

You are not required to be a certified model to participate in FORC.

This is a Styling competition based on items in competition boxes you will recieve if you make it through the initial application process and become a Semi Finalist. Semi Finalists will be expected to make a styling based on items within the competition boxes, following the rules given with the box. Initial applications do not have to have styling photos based on Romance Couture items, just show us how fabulous you are and why you would fit the Romance Couture brand image of Romantic, Fierce and Fabulous.

All contestants will submit an Application. Any applications done after midnight slt November 30th will not be accepted. You are required to send in (1) headshot (1) full body shot to Ava Jhamin, no later then November 30, 2013. Please no photoshop on pictures where you don’t look like you. We want to see the same person in picture and in front of us.

You must join the in world group of Romance Couture.

October 18th – November 30, 2013, 2913 Initial Application Submissions.

Semi Finalist will then receive boxed items from Romance Couture, & Madrid Solo. Any other accessories up to you. (If you are given this box you are a semi finalist… WELCOME TO FACE OF ROMANCE COUTURE) You will then have until December 6, 2013 to submit your headshot (1024 X1024) full body shot (1024 X 1024) into the Romance Couture flickr group.

January 17th 2014 4 p.m. slt Dress Rehearsal Mandatory

Run the World

Run the World

So before somebody screams animal cruelty, let it be known that there were no animals harmed during the entire process of styling and photo editing :P. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and do something I don’t normally do. I knew that I was heading the right direction when Eva (who just started her own blog) was so shocked to hear me asking where I can get a whip. What inspired me to do this? One of the finalists for SL’s Got Talent sang “Blurred Lines” and I thought of doing a good-girl-gone-bad kind of post.

Wondering why people are going gacha crazy? Well, there are lots of cool and cute stuff from designers/creators participating in the current round of The Arcade. As of now, the sim is always full so it might be a good idea to wait for a couple of days or you can try tping until you get in (that works too). ^_^ There are also some who organized yardsale events but please be cautious when making a purchase.

“Mes Brics a Bracs” opened it’s doors to the public today and if you are an accessory lover like me, then you should definitely drop by. It is a monthly event and will be showcasing a brand new collection every first of the month.
